Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Sacramento, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,548 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/17/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Sacramento, California, 95817! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 months Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-3 years of experience required depending on the unit License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI or MAB (preferred), BSN (preferred) Must-Have: Trauma Level I experience is required. Travelers will be considered with two or more years of ER experience. Description: 1 year of experience is required. Trauma Level I experience is required. Previous Trauma Level I experience enhances traveler success. Adult and pediatric trauma patients, homeless individuals, high volume psych cases, sepsis, and stroke are frequent diagnoses. The unit experiences a 30% admission rate with approximately 1000 visits per month. Pediatric admissions account for 18-20% of visits. Specialized areas include Fast Track - Rapid Care. No travelers intake or triage will occur. Nurse protocols are in place for rapid care assessments. Patients may include those with PCA pumps, managed by staff. Observation holding will accommodate 30-40 patients. Designated areas for management of patients during specific circumstances are in effect. Interdisciplinary support is available, including respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Candidates must be actively committed to compliance requirements. Modules required prior to start will be non-billable.
