We are seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to oversee field operations across our Northern California projects. This role requires strong leadership, quality assurance oversight, and the ability to train and mentor field personnel while ensuring projects are completed to company standards. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Oversight Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with field personnel (monthly with Foremen/Journeymen, quarterly with Apprentices). Prepare weekly schedules for all field staff and manage daily adjustments. Approve and edit timesheets, manage vacation/sick requests. Attend and contribute to weekly and monthly operations, project, and coordination meetings. Lead monthly Foremen meetings covering safety, quality, and company procedures. Field Employment Management Partner with Project Management to forecast manpower needs and recruit/hire accordingly. Handle disciplinary actions, incident documentation, and corrective measures. Collaborate with HR on employee terminations or layoffs. Quality Assurance Enforce installation standards, procedures, and accountability measures at all phases of construction. Ensure correct materials, equipment, and subcontractors are utilized per project requirements. Conduct regular site visits across Northern California, with required documentation of safety, progress, and quality observations. Training & Development Provide on-the-job training during site visits and identify skill gaps for targeted instruction. Organize monthly training classes covering trade math, codes, plan reading, and plumbing skills. Develop growth plans for employees to strengthen their skills or prepare for leadership roles. Physical Requirements Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly; load/unload tools and materials. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work on uneven surfaces for extended periods. Work long shifts (8–10 hours) in field conditions. Travel Requirements Frequent travel across Northern California (north of Bakersfield). Drive long distances to multiple job sites, including remote locations. Minimum of two jobsite visits per day when feasible; mandatory presence at job phase start/end. Requirements: Qualifications 5 years of plumbing or construction field leadership experience (Foreman, Supervisor, or similar). Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and construction practices. Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, resolve conflicts, and enforce safety/quality standards. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Proficiency with scheduling software, timekeeping systems (Paylocity a plus), and documentation tools.
