Job Description:
Minimum Qualifications A terminal degree (PhD, MFA , or
equivalent) in a relevant field such as Directing, Acting,
Producing, or a related area. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated
expertise in at least two of the following areas: acting,
directing, or producing. Proficiency in all three is preferred.
Experience across at least two distinct media formats, such as
animated film, live-action film, live theatre, opera, television,
web series, or commercials. Demonstrated excellence in teaching at
the college level. Ability to develop and teach a variety of
courses within the MPRO curriculum. Commitment to interdisciplinary
collaboration and student-centered teaching. Experience and
sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and
cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice,
equity, and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage
and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in
their work.
