Job Description:
You're in charge of delivering an exceptional work, lounge and
event experience for every member of Groundfloor San Francisco.
You'll be the face of our company and the person who our members
associate most with their membership. You'll help people with
problems, get to know them, engage with them, host them and make
them feel welcome. You'll also be in charge of all the practical
things that come up day-to-day from coordinating external
contractors (i.e. housekeeping and maintenance) to hosting events
and talks.Hours
- Part time, shift-based, likely 5-20 hours per week depending on
needs
- You will work as one of a small rotating team. Hours may vary
depending on what's happening in the space - flexibility is key

- On-site at our San Francisco location: 455 ValenciaWhat you'll
do
- Manage day-to-day activity in our San Francisco location
- Host our members, help check them in, troubleshoot their needs,
answer their questions
- Be a friendly face who knows everyone's names, proactively
getting to know people
- Facilitate events, tours and talks in the space
- Coordinate with maintenance and cleaning services and other
external contractors
- Handle issues as they arise, technical or otherwise (eg wifi,
broken doors etc)
- Actively engage with each and every person in the space to make
them feel welcome
- Manage opening and /or closing of the space, depending on the
shift
- Coordinate with 3rd parties such as fitness instructors and
food vendors
- Be the point of contact for all San Francisco members,
communicating with them through Slack, email, the Groundfloor app
or in person
- Capture great content from the space for our social media
- Handle scheduling in the space generally, make sure that things
are happening when they're meant to from fitness classes to
mealtimes to events
- Help reset the space for certain events as needed, whether
rearranging furniture and adjusting light and sound depending on
what's going onYou're a great fit if you have
- 1-3 years of customer-facing experience in a fast paced
environment
- A genuine love for people and thrive on making new
relationships
- Experience with events and production, in the know of San
Francisco's varied events scene
- A positive and outwardly sunny manner, whatever is going
on
- You're tech-savvy, comfortable and eager to learn new
systems
- Fantastic interpersonal skills, be the kind of person that
others gravitate to
- An ability to solve problems, with creativity and speed
