Manager, Retail Facilities is responsible for daily interaction
with multiple Sephora stores to ensure that repairs and maintenance
are fulfilled in a timely manner. Reporting to the Director of
Store Preservation, you will play a key role in ensuring the
safety, comfort, and cleanliness of our retail stores for our
clients and employees.Key responsibilities include :
- Oversee all proactive and reactive maintenance requests in a
territory of -125-175 stores. Process daily store
maintenance/fixture repair work orders through a CMMS platform to
support daily business operations - approximately 30,000 work
orders per year. Respond to emergency situations as required on a
24-hour, 7-day basis, including on-call rotation as
assigned.Perform regular onsite store visits throughout the NYC
Metro area and adjacent areas as needed.Build strong partnerships
with Store Directors, District Managers, Regional Directors, and
Loss Prevention teams by demonstrating clear communication, a
strong sense of urgency, and timely responses. Cultivate meaningful
relationships with cross-functional teams, including Business
Operations, Store Design, Construction, Procurement, Legal, and
moreDemonstrate high-level client service skills, attention to
detail, ability to assign priority to multiple requests
simultaneously, and remain cool under pressure.Schedule and manage
preventive maintenance services such as janitorial, HVAC,
electrical, fire and life safety systems. Track routine service
requests and ensure timely completion of all work requests while
keeping within budget.Manage the Store Preservation budget,
identifying cost-saving opportunities. Process routine maintenance
invoices and assist in managing the operational budget to
supportdaily business operations. Contribute to capital expenditure
budgets for small to mid-sized Store Preservation projects and
support the execution of special projects and programs.Analyze
monthly Utilities and R&M cost reports for abnormalities to
ensure proper system operations. Act as back up to Utilities
Specialist as needed.Analyze vendor KPI metrics and scorecards to
ensure high performance standards are met. Conduct monthly
scorecard reviews and bi-annual formal business reviews with Store
Preservation vendors. Support and manage the Store Preservation
contractor database and vendor services.Identify R&M trends,
communicate insights to leadership, and collaborate on developing
proactive plans and strategies to address emerging issues. Document
and update Store Preservation procedures and processes.We are
excited it you have...5+ yrs. in facilities management field2+
years of people management experience, preferably in the facilities
management space
- Ability to manage daily operations of the facility, including
maintenance, repairs, and ensuring operational efficiency with a
proactive approach, the ability to innovate, work independently,
and deliver results.
- Excellent customer service skills including, verbal and
written. Excellent customer service skills, effective listening and
interpersonal communication skills to respond to inquiries, address
concerns, and ensure cooperative and productive work
relationships
- Skill in selecting, managing, and negotiating contracts and
proposals with vendors and service providers, ensuring the best
value for the organization.
- Proficiency in managing operational budgets, controlling costs,
and maximizing the value of facility investments.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA standards, and
ability to enforce a safe working environment for employees and
customers
- Expertise in implementing energy-efficient practices, reducing
environmental impact, and managing sustainable facility
operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting
with teams, vendors, customers, and senior management.
- Ability to identify issues quickly and develop effective
solutions, particularly in situations that could affect store
operations or customer experience.
- Ensuring all aspects of the facility, from maintenance to
customer experience, meet high standards of quality.
- Managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
effectively, balancing short-term issues with long-term strategic
planning.
- Understanding that the retail environment is customer-facing,
and ensuring the facility contributes positively to the customer
experience.
- A basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC
systems to oversee maintenance and troubleshoot problems when they
arise.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
presentation software
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System
like ServiceChannel, Corrigo, Fexa, Service Now etc.
- General knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire
systems
- General knowledge of maintenance/construction trade &
regulations, blueprints, and schematic drawingsThe annual base
salary range for this position is $96,390.00- $128,250.00 The
actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which
may include, as applicable, the applicant's qualifications for the
position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills;
level of education attained; certifications or other professional
licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business
factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in
which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the
job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to
