leader of the Memory Innovation team in the Cloud Memory Business
Unit (CMBU) at Micron, you will lead an extremely talented team of
individuals with expertise in architecture, design and development,
system-level usage models of different flavors of memory
technologies, and strong business acumen that is relevant to memory
innovation.Your team will be responsible for driving the Innovation
Strategy within CMBU, with a laser focus on developing the
next-generation of memory solutions for Datacenter and AI
architectures. Importantly, your team will provide guidance to
Micron's executive leadership on investment choices in different
memory technologies with an informed view of various factors
ranging from market trends and technology inflection points to
practical considerations such as high-volume manufacturability,
competitive moats, and ecosystem dependencies.A key component of
this role will involve strong collaboration with internal partners
in Micron's Technology Development, Corporate Strategy, Advanced
Packaging and Engineering functions, as well as external partners,
customers, vendors, and research institutes. In close partnership
with Micron's Technical Pathfinding teams, you will solve intricate
technical challenges while ensuring business feasibility of
proposed solutions to seize the opportunities in this dynamic
field. This position demands influential executive presence, as you
shape company strategy and influence industry and customer
trajectories to optimize CMBU's long-term portfolio for both ROI
and strategic advantage.Key Responsibilities:Developing Innovative
Memory Solutions:
- Craft an Innovation Strategy: Understand inflections in the
compute industry, develop and implement a forward-thinking strategy
for CMBU. Drive new technology developments, develop innovative
memory architectures for Datacenter and AI.
- Collaborate Across Domains: Engage with internal team members
and external partners to address complex technical challenges and
seize growth opportunities.
- Architect the Future: Use your expertise across domains such as
logic and memory design, system architecture, Si and packaging
technology to develop differentiated memory conceptsBusiness

- Translate Technical Excellence: Bridge the gap between

and success.Key Qualifications:
- Amaster's degreeorPh.D.inelectrical engineering,computer
science, or a related field is highly valued. BSEE required.
Advanced education demonstrates a deep understanding of AI concepts
and algorithms.
- 10+ years technical experience in the semiconductor industry in
hardware architecture covering areas such as GPU, CPU, ASIC design,
chiplet architectures, advanced packaging, datacenter
architectures, power and thermal management in datacenters with a
strong understanding of system interaction across hardware and
software stacks. Candidate should show increasing
responsibility/scope over time.
- 5+ years DRAM-related experience in a design, product
engineering, quality, hardware architect, or business
capacity.
- Familiarity withmemory hardware architecturesand their impact
on AI performance. Understanding of near memory solutions, such as
3D stacking, chiplet, and interposer, and their impact on system
performance, power, area, cost, and reliability.
- A deep understanding of data center systems architecture by way
of designing solutions in this space.
- Creative thinkingto devise efficient pathfinding solutions
considering memory constraints. Demonstrated success in delivering
technology innovation via past results such as patents, leading
industry initiatives, new product concepts, establishing new
revenue streams
- Ability toanalyze complex problemsrelated to memory and AI
performance.
- Teamwork skillsto collaborate with hardware engineers, system
architects, and software developersThe US base salary range that
Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time
position is:$188,500.00 - $375,500.00Our salary ranges are
determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on
each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new
hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the
range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional
job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience,
tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject
to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share

during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include
