us, and build real world value.THE WORK:As a Senior Manager of UX
Research, you will lead a small and mighty team of UX Researchers
to deeply understand customer needs, desires, and problems and find
opportunities for new product development and user experiences. You
are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to lead highly impactful
research studies while coaching UX Researchers and delivering
actionable insights across Ripple. You have experience influencing
the product roadmap and strategy that will take Ripple's customer
experience to the next level. You are an inspiring leader who is
adaptable, focused, and ready to tackle ambiguous problems in a
fast-paced and evolving blockchain technology space and prepare the
team for long-term success.WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Be a strong leader in a cross-functional team and define
customer-centric research approaches to help envision and influence
the future of Ripple product experiences
- Define and refine the research roadmap, establishing a practice
that balances speed and quality of research execution
- Empower the team to lead research with autonomy and
collaboration while also implementing your own high-impact research
studies, starting in a "player-coach" role with a balance of
management and individual research contribution
- Apply agile research practices and techniques for the team to
generate new insights for existing and future Ripple customers
- Represent the voice of the user and spread user insight across
the organization
- Perform exploratory research, design concept validation, and
internal data-driven analysis, leading to tangible product and
design recommendations
- Ensure cross-functional teams, including Product Managers,
Designers, Engineers, and Product Marketing, are involved in the
research process
- Articulate the 'so what' of research takeaways during
presentations with leadership and broader audiences
- Be responsible for the research budget and evaluate vendors and
platforms to align with research needs
- Facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams to surface
internal hypotheses, increase knowledge sharing, and spread user
insightWHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 10+ years of experience in UX research, including leading
research strategy in sophisticated and/or enterprise-level
products
- 2+ years of consistent record of leading and mentoring UX
Researchers
- A strategic and adaptable individual who can pivot quickly,
anticipate changes, and drive success in an evolving technology
environment
- Uses foresight to recognize unmet user and business needs,
emerging trends, or inefficiencies that UX research can help
address
- Bold and self-motivated with a bias toward execution and
agility, with the ability to prioritize research projects
- Intellectually curious and insightful, balancing users' and
customers' needs
- A comprehensive research toolkit and a flexible approach to
applying agile research methods
- Excellent verbal and written communicator; values
over-communication while collaborating with cross-functional teams
located in different time zones
- A strong vision for how to efficiently scale research practices
and processes
- BA/BS or equivalent experience in Psychology, Cognitive
Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is
considered an advantageFor positions that will be based in CA, the
annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may
vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an
individual applicant's experience and qualifications for the
position. This range does not include equity or additional
compensation, such as bonuses or commissions.CA Annual Base Salary
