Job Description:

Sites located in North Valley Areas: - Turlock, Ceres, Atwater, Modesto, MercedWe are recruiting for -Medical Assistants -for our premier client in the North Valley Area. As a Medical Assistant (MA) you will perform nursing procedures and patient registration tasks and procedures.Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Works within a team care environment to provide excellent patient care services within scope of practice as established by the Medical Board of California.
• Coordinate with appropriate staff.
• Pre-visit planning in collaboration with patient
• Collect and record patient data for vital signs, height, weight, and basic medical history
• Specimen collection and in-house diagnostic tests
• Patient preparation for procedures and assisting provider in such
• Records performance of authorized patient treatment and care in the medical record, consistent with medical protocols
• Participates in staff education and training activities in collaboration with back-office training staff.
• Maintains required competencies as established.
• Other Medical Assistant duties as assigned.Requirements:
  • Basic MA and back-office procedures and medical terminology.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft office: Word, Excel and Data Entry
  • High School Diploma and Medical Assisting certificate from an accredited program Required
  • Current American Heart Association BLS CPR certification
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
