Job Description:
The Medical Director provides medical leadership to achieve
facility goals in collaboration with nursing and staff. Supervises
and evaluates patient treatment and reviews treatment plans. Meets
regularly with the Treatment Team, nursing leadership, and medical
staff to discuss patient care, program development, and staff
training. Offers on-site supervision, emergency coverage, and
supports policy and regulatory compliance. Develops action plans to
address issues and ensures standards meet accreditation and
regulatory requirements. Holds a Board Certification in Internal
Medicine or Addiction Medicine, with at least 3 years of
detox/residential experience, and holds an active medical license.
