Therapist (In-Person) K-12 School Setting Location: Gilroy, CA
Contract Duration: Immediately through the end of the 2025-2026
school year, extending through the 2026-2027 school year A
full-time opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist
licensed to practice in California to support a diverse student
population across multiple rural school sites. This role involves
delivering direct services Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30
PM, to approximately 50 students ranging in age from preschool
through high school. Primary responsibilities include providing
occupational therapy interventions within a regional preschool
program as well as several K-12 schools and one high school.
Responsibilities: Provide evaluation and treatment services to
students ages 3-18 with varied needs across seven rural school
sites and a regional preschool program. Collaborate with educators,
families, and related service staff to develop and implement
individualized therapy plans. Adapt caseload assignments flexibly
based on experience and student needs, working alongside another
occupational therapist. Maintain accurate documentation and comply
with state and district guidelines. Participate in team meetings
and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications and Experience: Active California Occupational
Therapy license required. Experience working with school-aged
children, including preschool and K-12 populations, preferred.
Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students. Strong
communication and collaboration skills with school staff and
