Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN
with an active CA license, BSN, and at least 2 years of recent
experience for a rotating day shift assignment. Responsibilities -
Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting -
Patient population includes infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult,
and geriatric individuals - Day shifts are 3x12 hours from 7:00 to
19:30 with every other Saturday required and no Sunday shifts -
Potential to float to other units within the Emergency Services
Division - Responsible for care planning, direct patient care,
evaluation, and adjustment of care plans - Delegates and supervises
care provided by subordinates based on patient needs and team
skills - Provides patient education and supports autonomy and
dignity - Acts as relief Charge Nurse as assigned and participates
in orientation of new staff - Engages in continuous quality
improvement and unit committee activities - Adheres to hospital
regulatory and documentation standards - Maintains a safe and
therapeutic environment - Professional attire required per hospital
standards - Only one holiday request off will be approved
Requirements - Active CA RN license required - Bachelor of Science
in Nursing (BSN) required - Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg Tele
experience required - Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS,
CPI - Must be able to attend lab work within 3-5 days of signing
agreement - Must reside at least 50 miles from facility - Return
staff must have a minimum 1 year break before returning as a
