Job Description:

PowerBack Rehabilitation, a leader in post-hospital rehabilitation care, is seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist, either CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) or CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence), to join our team. This role involves working closely with patients recovering from surgery, injuries, or illnesses to help them regain their communication and swallowing abilities. Our focus on tailored and intense rehabilitation treatments creates a nurturing environment for both our staff and patients to achieve spectacular recovery outcomes. Assess patient speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs and recovery goals. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed. Educate patients and families about communication strategies and coping mechanisms. Coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and prepare progress reports. Participate in training and professional development activities. Strong knowledge of speech therapy practices and principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to tailor treatment plans to individual patient needs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Compassion and empathy for patients’ conditions and recovery journeys. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance ASHA Certification (CFY or CCC) State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
