Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Walnut Creek, CA Agency: AMN Healthcare Pay: $2,458 to $2,610 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/21/2026 About the Position Job Description & Requirements Registered Nurse – Emergency Room - Travel - (ER RN) StartDate: 4/21/2026 Available Shifts: 12 E/N Pay Rate: $2458.00 - $2610.00 Comments And Notes ER RN MUST have STRONG ER experience, MUST have ER travel experience Please only send pre-closed candidates that can accept if offered. •ORIENTATION DATE: 1/7/25 and 1/28/25 13 Weeks • SHIFT: 12 hours rotating 1p-1a/3p-3a/5p-5a/7p-7a- (WILL WORK EACH and EVERY ONE of the shifts listed) REQUIRED: CA lic BLS and ACLS (AHA only), PALS (AHA only) or ENPC, NIHSS, 2 yrs of ER exp, superior references, travel exp is required, EPIC exp is required! preferred: CEN, TNCC, 3-5 yrs of exp, some Trauma experience and Pediatrics experience is STRONGLY preferred NOTES to help find the right professional • Walnut Creek is a 44 bed ED, it is full 24/7 with many patients being treated in hallways and waiting rooms • They see 200 patients per day, acuity of patients is extremely high • Nurses need to be able to critically think and manage a fast paced environment • The patient demographic / population is generally well educated and are well informed, (patients are vocal about sub standard care) • EPIC experience is REQUIRED - work history MUST state where they have used EPIC Required Qualifications REQUIRED: CA lic BLS and ACLS (AHA only), PALS (AHA only) or ENPC, NIHSS, 2 yrs of recent ER exp, superior references, travel exp is required EPIC experience is REQUIRED - work history MUST state where they have used EPIC Experience: 1 year Licenses: RN-CA Certifications: ACLS(Copy Needed); BLS(Copy Needed); PALS(Copy Needed); CERT-NIH Stroke Scale(Copy Needed) References: 1 Reference in the last 12 months ER SCL within a year Required: of beds and trauma level noted after every facility listed in the work history (past three years) Preferred Qualifications TNCC, CEN EPIC Experience Facility Location Situated in the San Francisco Bay Area, Walnut Creek is a picture-perfect California town known for its ample wide open spaces.
