You will work with a talented global engineering community, sharing ideas and knowledge on how to develop, deploy, and support innovative products as part of the most innovative HCM Central Component team.Responsibilities

• Perform high-level design based on external specifications; specify, design, and implement minor changes to existing software architecture.
• Build complex enhancements and resolve bugs; build and execute unit tests and review test plans created by QA.
• Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams, taking ownership of projects.
• Work with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality user stories/backlog items.
• Operate in an agile environment, driving projects forward independently.
• Show leadership in driving transformational changes in a technical environment.
• Apply expert knowledge in performance, large-scale enterprise applications, system architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Develop scalable, reliable diagnostic and supportability features, including fault-tolerance and telemetry.
• Discover and understand technical and operational requirements for new features, maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Provide design suggestions for complex problems, sharing deep software engineering knowledge.
• Balance technical leadership and business judgment in decision-making.Required Skills
  • Experience with Microservices, Spring Boot, or Helidon frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in performance tuning in Java/SQL or related technologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD principles in cloud-based web applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical content to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.Preferred Skills (not mandatory)
    • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications - HCM.
    • Experience with VBCS/JET, scripting languages like Groovy/Python, design patterns, AI/ML, and Cloud Native Databases.You should have a minimum of 3-5 years of software development experience.
