Job Description:
At Walmart Inc., a leader in global retail, we are embarking on
a transformative journey with our Conversational AI initiatives,
aimed at enhancing customer and associate interactions through
advanced AI-driven technologies. As a Principal Data Scientist
within our Data Science & AI team, you'll work at the forefront of
machine learning and natural language processing technologies to
develop, refine, and implement AI models that streamline
conversations and improve user experiences across all Walmart
digital platforms. This role involves deep technical expertise,
leadership to guide a team of data scientists, and strategic
thinking to align AI innovations with business goals. Lead the
design and development of scalable machine learning models for
Conversational AI applications. Collaborate with cross-functional
teams to integrate AI solutions that enhance user interaction
across digital platforms. Mentor and guide a team of data
scientists in executing data-driven projects efficiently. Stay
abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI and machine
learning technologies. Conduct rigorous testing and validation of
AI models to ensure the robustness and reliability of AI
applications. Communicate technical concepts and business impacts
of AI initiatives to non-technical stakeholders. Expertise in
machine learning, natural language processing, and AI frameworks
Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other data science
languages Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar deep
learning platforms Proficiency in data management and visualization
tools Ability to interpret complex data and transform it into
actionable strategies Strong leadership and communication skills
