Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Technical, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of experience, including experience in management consulting or technology and capital program companies. Experience defining direction for engineering or operations organizations. Experience leading and partnering with cross-functional executive stakeholders and leaders on programs and leading organizational change. Financial management experience. Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Technical, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Experience in high tech, large-scale hyperscaler operational management. Experience with gathering competitive/market intelligence and process/performance benchmarking. Expertise in financial management strategies and operations. Bias for action, leading complex transformation projects requiring significant organization change management from concept to impact. About the job In this role, you will be a key enabler for the success of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Technical Infrastructure (TI) Engineering. You will work with leaders and teams across all functions within GCP/Site Reliability (SRE) and partner teams (e.g., Finance, AI2, People Operations, REWS, Recruiting, and Legal) as well as with GCP/TI StratOps teams, product operations, and technical program management teams—to drive and execute the organizations overarching strategy and operational objectives. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $323,000-$449,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities Drive end-to-end strategic planning, including annual and semester cycles, ensuring alignment across the GCP/SRE organization and with Google-level goals. Manage the rhythm of business, focusing on headcount, financial planning, and spend governance in coordination with Finance and GTM teams. Oversee process architecture and the internal tooling roadmap to identify improvements and automate workflows across engineering and partner functions. Serve as a central nervous system for GCP/SRE, coordinating cross-functional efforts and obtaining support for major organizational change programs. Foster a high-performing culture through talent development and unique perspectives, while acting as a strategic partner to executive leadership.
