Cyber security is an integral part of our SVB culture, and as a growing financial institution it's vital that we all play our part in keeping customers' data secure. We're looking for a cyber professional inherently driven and fascinated by the art and science of cyber defense. We will arm you with the very best tools and tech so that you can deliver top notch results. As the Head of Cybersecurity, you'll be challenged by innovative problem-solving challenges and have the chance to work with people from a range of disciplines at every level. This is a critical role within the Global Security Organization, and you will be responsible for leading engineering, architecture, automation, SOC, and Incident Response reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer. Responsibilities: - Lead security engineering inclusive of network security, endpoint security, and cloud security. - Drive Security Architecture and design/implementation/optimization for Web, API, and Mobile backend applications across SVB. - Lead security operations center and incident response team s , continuously monitoring systems and detecting incidents. - Bring an automation-first mindset to champion and drive a streamlined approach to cybersecurity operations. Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree preferred - Minimum of 10 years of experience in architecting, designing, and developing large enterprise class applications with increasing responsibilities. - Minimum 10 years of leading a security operation center for a large enterprise. - A minimum of 7+ years of security architecture experience working with large scale transaction processing ecosystems. Base Pay: $267,800.00 - $401,700.00 Actual starting base pay will be determined on skills, experience, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
