range for this role is:$62,986.56 -
$103,906.40Responsibilities:
- Co-Coordinate with Manager Quality Assurance and ensure
implementation of Corporate Quality and Tech Services
policies.
- Assists in supervision/leading the plant quality assurance
department and serves as a technical advisor to plant
management.
- Food Safety and Quality responsibilities include; Food
Safety/HACCP Team Member, Food Safety Co-Coordinator, Quality
Systems Co-Coordinator, Sanitation Program oversight assistance,
Finished Product grading, Quality Records auditing, assist in
preparing annual Quality Review, assist in conducting Internal
Audits, assist with accompanying Regulatory Auditors on site, Food
Security Team member, assist in Root Cause Investigation with
process or product issues, Product hold co-administrator, Consumer
Complaint tracking, support with BRC Systems implementation,
accompany 2nd and 3rd party auditors as needed, Traceability and
Recall Co-Coordinator, Pest Control Co-Coordinator, Private label
and co-pack QA, co-coordinate corrective and preventative action
program, assist with tracking equipment calibration, FS and Quality
Training Co-Coordinator, Supplier approval and performance.
- The Supervisor will receive instructions about Del Monte's
Quality Systems that includes government requirements, Food Safety
and ensures products conform to specifications and meets the
customer's expectations.
- This position, along with the Manager Quality Assurance, is
responsible for the related communication, documentation, and
reporting per company policy, and state and federal law.
- Ensure product safety through development, review, and
enforcement of company policy.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, federal and corporate food
safety regulatory standards.
- Review and enforce company quality standards provided by
facility, regional and corporate quality authorities.
- Management/Supervision
- Co-Coordinate with Manager Quality Assurance the supervision
and training of hourly production workers, as well as the
oversight, direction, and training of various seasonal personnel to
achieve Del Monte's Quality Standards, as well as other goals set
by the management team.
- The role shares responsibility in determining
personnel/staffing needs and supports the Manager Quality Assurance
to ensure that all areas have the proper materials and training
needed to function at Annual Operating Plan.
- Assists in managing the performance of personnel to ensure that
all job functions are achieved and that all administrative actions
are resolved in a timely manner by working with Human Resources as
applicable.

in the employee's area of responsibility.

- Support, facilitate, and assist in the implementation of the
facility's Continuous Improvement initiatives.

- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Food Technology or related
field in food processing.
- 1-2 Years of experience in Quality Assurance
- Knowledge:
- Preventive controls qualified individual (PCQI).
- Understand customer needs and expectations. Organize, plan, and
problem-solve to exceed their expectations and develop positive
relationships.
- Forward thinker and innovator. Understand key financial
indicators and how day-to-day decisions impact the bottom line and
other parts of the organization.
