In this role, you will employ the nursing process to deliver patient care under the guidance of licensed professionals authorized by state regulations to prescribe treatments and medications, or under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). You will be accountable for the quality of care provided to your assigned patients and will collaborate with various departments to coordinate patient care effectively. Upholding patient rights and ensuring the confidentiality of their information is paramount. Position Overview: Night Shift Sign-On Bonus: New Graduate LPN: $3,000 Experienced LPN: $4,000 Neuro LPN Position: Hours: 24 hours per week, Night shifts Location: Our facility in Festus, MO 63028 About the Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit: We frequently manage patients with pulmonary conditions such as COPD, respiratory failure, asthma, and pneumonia. These individuals may require high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, tracheostomies, or chest tubes, necessitating thorough assessments, proactive therapies, and vigilant nursing care. Our team collaborates closely with the Stroke Coordinator to provide care for patients experiencing Acute Stroke and TIA. We occasionally utilize tele-neuro services, and neuro patients require regular assessments to monitor for any subtle changes in their condition. Education regarding stroke is also provided to patients and families. Qualifications: Education: Practical Nursing Degree from an accredited institution Licensure: Current LPN license in the state or the ability to obtain one within 90 days Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association; IV Certification to be completed within one year Why Join Us?
